??
We should use 'critique' instead of 'evaluate'.
We need to not limit thinking.  How many conformists are nobel prize winners?
In my college sci classrooms, I teach my students to question ideas and appearances.
Our greatest thinkers were considered wackos.
I urge you to keep language that makes good sci happen in this state.
We should keep s&w.
B  Is pseudo sci a prob with your students?
?? Pseudo is a claim that is made when philosophy enters into the discussion of sci.

Cory Cunningham
Public hs senior
I intend to defend the rights of every student given us by the constitution.
It's the board's duty to make sure both s&w are taught and considered.
B  When did critical thinking start in your educational process?
Cory  Students are asked to think critically at every level.
B So you would come to a sci class already with the ability to critically analyze?
Cory  Absolutely.

This is a PR issue for business in Texas.
The political games we're playing with will burn us all
SS !!
Eric  S&W is a toxic term.  If we put it in our standards, we invite litigation disaster.  Mktg is powerful.

He blames the 2 dems on the board for not putting a 7th expert on the expert panel, purposely keeping it 3pro and 3anti, thereby perpetuating the even-handed controversy.

S&W has been rebranded since you adopted it 20 years ago.  It has been co-opted by ID'ers since 1997, and should be taken out.

B So in your opinion a&e language would be less toxic?
Eric  I don't have an opinion on a&e, just definitely not s&w.
